Also today, I am mostly … singing ABBA songs to myself

… after seeing Mamma Mia! last night in the cinema. A definite feel-good film, and I enjoyed it a lot. I wouldn’t mind seeing the stage show, either!

Ok, half the main cast weren’t very good singers, and the plot was somewhat predictable… but it was sweet and funny and having ‘proper’ actors in the cast meant that it was reasonably well-acted too. Everyone left the cinema on a high anyway (and not just because of all the sugary snacks).

And also today, I am mostly … sorting through paperwork

… while watching several episodes of Firefly for the good of my soul. I have boxes and boxes of paper in the house because I have a bad tendency to throw all incoming letters into a heap if they’re the ‘file away’ kind rather than the ‘act upon’ kind (the ‘act upon’ ones get put on top of the fridge instead). And these piles have been growing and growing and getting more unruly; I sorted out my properly-filed paperwork some time ago as well and then couldn’t find my birth certificate when I needed it. I found it today, thankfully, else my wedding plans might have had a bit of a hiccup…
