… because it’s horribly stormy and really unpleasant to drive in. Also, my desk is situated, in the building I work in, at the end that gets hit by lots of crosswinds, thanks to its exposed position in Belfast docks - to the extent that everything shakes slightly: the light fitting sway and my plants tremble, and the roof rattles something horrible (never mind the noise when it rains).
Most of the time I can tune out the weather noise, but it’s been just too loud these past few days to even drown out with music straight into my ears.
I wonder if the weather is bad enough to knock some of the man-sized letters (part of the name) off the side of the building again?
